Working Group 1: Experimental Endurance Studies / An appeal to interested parties

As you know very well, experimental fatigue research on wire ropes is very expensive and time consuming, so that unsponsored, purely scientific research, such as were performed by OIPEEC members is its early years, seems no longer possible. Nevertheless, a Iot of work is being performed in this field, only part of which is reported upon at Scientific Congresses and OIPEEC Round Tables.
