Working Groups Conclusion of the program of the comparative tests between the REFMA machines of Delft and Torino

The comparison of the test results obtained on the two REFMA's has been target of the W.G. coordinated by Prof. G.C. Meeuse, with the cooperation of Dr. Wiek in Delft and of Prof. Giovannozzi and Ciuffi in Torino. In the previous report some differences were found because of the different hardness of the grooves: the supplementary program was thus carried out after unification of the of the pulley grooves. Dr Wiek has sent the following final report where the results of both the REFMA coincide within the usual scattering of the fatigue tests.
