Working Party 4 Theoretical aspects of wire rope endurance

The General Assembly at Bochum decided for a new working group with the aim: "The study of theoretical aspects of wire rope endurance". In November 1988 the following activities of the new group were printed in the Bulletin N. 56:
- The theoretical research on bending stiffness
- The preparation of summaries in english of doctoral theses in the field of wire rope research.
