Effect of rope manufacture technology and the conditions of rope operation on the wear process of wire rope

One of the main parameters influencing the durability of wire ropes are the stresses in rope wires. This can be proved by measuring the stresses and by the fatigue tests carried on in laboratories [1, 2].
