Aime of activity.

Incorporation of the non destructive steel rope testing method to the researches on durability of steel ropes carried on by OIPEEC. The assessment of suitability of non destructive methods at a given stage of their development for durability and wear testing. Pointing out the actual possibilities for carrying out non destructive tests in industry with indication of directions for further researches to improve tests.
