 Among the non-destructive methods of investigation on physical and mechanical properties of solids, the vibro-acoustic methods have come to the fore during the last years. This is by reason of the existing interaction between the acoustic waves and the structure of interest on the one hand, and of a quite significant storage capacity and high information transmission rate of vibro-acoustic signals analysed over a sufficiently wide frequency range on the other hand.
