ABSTRACT

I have advocated the addition of historical papers to the Round Tables because I believe an understanding the history of technology is a stimulant to the advent of new technology. ln keeping with my belief, I propose to make a historical presentation at the Delft Round Table. I have three topics available. I suggest OIPEEC consider these and determine which of these three would be of greatest interest (all represent new research) :
