Working Groups The second BLOCK LOAD PROGRAM The Program of B.L.P. 2

The first B.L.P. was organised by OIPEEC and was presented at the London meeting in 1979 by prof. Ciuffi (see Bulletin 36) with the participation of the Laboratries of Timisoara, Ljubljana, Torino (2), Karlsruhe, Delft and Nantes. In September 1984, during the Colloquium of Stuttgart "150 Years wire rope", prof. Bahke suggested a second B.L.P. later printed in Bulletin 49, April 85, with several opinions; subsequently the program was discussed by letter and, briefly, during the Glasgow R.T . in June 1985; a first detailed proposal was sent by prof. Rossetti; opinions and additions have been put forward on the part of Dr. Haibach and proff. Giovannozzi and Ciuffi, with which Messers Clement, Hankus , Feyrer and Meeuse agreed. Finally on October 25th, 1985, Messers Bahke, Feyrer and Haybach prepared a modified program, that has been the basis of the final program proposed by prof. Rossetti as coordinator of the Working Group, as a synthesis of the different opinions, this program being presented in the following.
